Unmixed materials are carried in compartmented bins and tanks. On arrival at a job site, the driver-operator adjusts the materials proportioning and heat controls in accordance with mix design and calibration charts to produce the mix specified for the job. Production and delivery can be stopped when sufficient material has been delivered to complete the repair or paving job. Mix design can be modified for the next patch job as required… with the materials on board...without delay.
The Asphalt Mobile Mixer is powered hydraulically and electrically. Electric power is provided by an on-board, generator. Interlocking controls and drives assure accurate proportioning, heating and mixing. Noise control and pollutant emission control systems are designed to meet Federal E. P. A. standards. No base plant is needed.
